(In hybrid mode : online and on-site)
Department of Physics, University of Lucknow, India
Theme – ‘Innovations in Plasma Physics’
About the Conference
The Department of Physics, University of Lucknow, India is proud to host the ‘2nd International Conference on Plasma Theory and Simulations (PTS)’ on 20 – 21, June 2022. The conference will be held in the hybrid mode : online and on-site – if circumstances permit.
The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results on theoretical aspects of Plasma Physics and Simulation of Plasmas. It will provide a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, educators and students to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Plasma Physics and Simulation of Plasmas. This 2 - day conference will consist of plenary, topical invited talks, contributed oral and poster presentations in various fields of Plasma Science and Simulations. The conference may be extended to the 3rd day i.e., 22nd June, 2022 in case the number of papers received exceed the two day schedule.
PTS 2022 is broad in scope and will cover a very wide range of topics including fundamental and basic plasma physics, laser – plasma interaction, exotic plasma (including dusty plasma), quantum plasma, computer modelling for plasma, nuclear fusion technology, space and astrophysical plasma, bio-plasma and cross-disciplinary research in plasma physics. PTS - 2022 will concentrate on the achievements, challenges, scopes and opportunities in various key areas of plasma science.
There is no registration fee for participation in PTS - 2022. Participation/presentation certificates will be also provided to those participants who attend all the sessions online.
We look forward to welcoming you as part of this exciting conference.
